The energy policy for a competitive Europe as dictated by the European commission. That is why EU policy focuses on creating a competitive internal energy market offering quality service at low prices, on developing renewable energy sources, on reducing dependence on imported energy. With this, Europe becomes a real model for the rest of the world in a context of renewed interest in nuclear energy. Europe programm is the EU's tool for funding action to improve these conditions and move us towards a more energy intelligent Europe. Europe is a part of the EU's Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).
