European Wind Energy Association and Renewable Energy Europe 2010

The European Wind Energy Association, otherwise known as the EWEA, is the most powerful wind energy network in Europe. In 2009, a total of eight new wind farms consisting of 199 offshore wind turbines, with a combined power generating capacity of 577 MW, were connected to the grid in Europe. This represents a big growth spurt in sustainable energy. EWEA supports the Wind Power Works campaign. EWEA is campaign associate of the Sustainable Energy Europe campaign.. Renewable Energy Europe, co-located with POWER-GEN, is Europe's first large-scale renewables event tailor made for Europe's power grid. In the meantime, if you would like to receive information about Renewable Energy World Europe please read this blog.
